TASHLICH-SHOFAR EXPERIENCE

(For Current CBI Members Only)
Sunday, September 20, 2020
What is Tashlich?
Tashlich originated during the Middle Ages as a custom of going to a body of water and symbolically casting our sins (by tossing pieces of bread) into the water.
Following our virtual service on Rosh Hashanah Day II, join us on campus for Tashlich. Park in the CBI parking lot and walk up to the Admin circle to sanitize your hands and receive your individual bag of bread. Hear the sound of the Shofar as you walk across the street to the canal and join your Clergy to cast our sins into the water.
NOTE: Masks must be worn at all times and social distancing will be in effect. Families can walk together and individuals are asked to stay 6 feet apart. Thank you!
Please register for one of the time slots below to give all our CBI members an opportunity to participate. Each Tashlich experience will be limited to 50 congregants.
•Temperatures will be taken before you are allowed to come on campus (if over 100.4, you may not come on campus.
• Please park in the CBI lot and walk up the driveway to the circle drive to check-in at the entrance of the Pollock Family Courtyard.
• Congregants must check in by the Pollock Family Courtyard in the Admin Circle to pick up individual bags of bread.
•Then, please proceed to walk across Yamato Road to meet the clergy at the canal, hear the Shofar and say a prayer for Tashlich.
