The impact of Jewish camp lasts a lifetime. In fact, children who attend Jewish summer camp are more likely to become active leaders in the community, join a synagogue, support Jewish causes, and become educators and community lay leaders. In addition to all these benefits, they will get to experience the infamous favorite camper meal, Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup! CBI wants to help send your child to a Jewish sleepaway camp! We will be holding an essay contest providing (10) $250 grants to SLJ students who plan on attending a URJ sleepaway camp for the first time this summer. SUBMISSION ESSAY TOPIC: WHY IS IT IMPORTANT FOR ME TO ATTEND A JEWISH SLEEPAWAY CAMP?
