He is a sommelier certified by The Court of Master Sommeliers, who has studied and collected wine for over 40 years. Since retiring as a consumer products business manager in 2011 he has focused exclusively on wine-related projects with particular emphasis on the Israeli wine revolution. He has made it his top priority to have U.S. wine consumers discover, appreciate and purchase today’s world-class Israeli wines. Steve and his not-for-profit Wines of Israel Network Company (“WIN”) have working relationships with Importers representing over 95% of all U.S. imports of Israeli wines.
